My husband Josh heard about this opportunity in South Korea just before Christmas. He attended a meeting with Mr. Lee that turned into an interview and a salary negotiation. It happened very quickly. Josh and I discussed it during the drive to NY and decided it was a great opportunity (hence the random Korean status updates and references to becoming an expat on my Facebook status).

This was not the first time that we encountered a potential international opportunity so we honestly did not know if this one would come to fruition. We came very close to moving to South Africa in 2008 and almost went to Italy for a few months in 2009 (and then a massive earthquake occurred), so let’s just say we have been down this road before. more…
